Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide to us directly: your name, email address, and the contact and delivery details needed to fulfil an order. If you create an account we also store your saved quotes and order history.

We collect your CAD files — STEP, STP and STL uploads — because they are the input required to manufacture your parts. Uploaded designs are treated as confidential and are used solely to produce your order.

We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps through server logs, used for security, fraud prevention and understanding how the service is used.

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate quotes and manufacture your parts, including process planning, support generation and quality inspection.

To process payments, issue order confirmations and provide customer support.

To send transactional email — order confirmations, production updates and dispatch notices. These are operational messages rather than marketing.

To improve the quote engine, the service and the reliability of our machines.

To comply with our legal and tax obligations.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card number, CVV or full banking credentials on our systems — Razorpay handles that data directly and returns only a payment reference and status to us.

We can see the payment status, amount, method and reference for an order. We cannot see or retrieve your card or bank details.

4. Transactional Email

Operational email is delivered through Resend. Your email address is shared with these processors only to the extent required to deliver messages to you, and is not sold or shared for advertising.

5. Confidentiality of Your Designs

Your CAD files are confidential property. We use them only to manufacture your order and to maintain the records needed for quality, warranty and dispute resolution.

We do not publish, share, licence or reuse your designs in any form. We will not include your geometry in marketing material, case studies or training data without your explicit written permission.

6. Data Storage and Security

Account, quote and order records are stored in managed cloud database services. Uploaded files are held in cloud object storage with access restricted to the production and support staff who need them.

All traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS. Access to production systems is restricted by role and protected by authentication.

No system is perfectly secure, but we apply the controls that are standard for a service handling customer designs and commercial data.

7. Data Retention

Order records, invoices and correspondence are retained for as long as required to meet tax, accounting and warranty obligations.

Uploaded CAD files are retained for the period needed to fulfil orders, support warranty claims and resolve disputes, after which they are deleted from active storage.

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, subject to records we are legally required to retain.

8. Sharing Your Data

We share personal data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the business: payment processing (Razorpay), transactional email (Resend), cloud infrastructure and database hosting, and logistics carriers where required to deliver your order.

These providers act under contract and are bound to our data protection requirements. We do not sell personal data.

We may disclose information where required by law, a court order or a competent regulatory authority.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

To make any of these requests, email us and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Note that some records must be retained where we are legally obliged to keep them.

10. Cookies and Analytics

The application stores session and authentication state in your browser so you can stay signed in and so your quote can persist between pages. These are functional cookies, not tracking cookies.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking. If analytics are used to understand aggregate site usage, they are configured to avoid collecting personal data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service or our legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated to registered users.
